I have written for organizations large and small.
My policy is to help you deliver a message that matters in a voice that makes senses.
In other words, I cut through industry talk and explain complicated concepts in clear, compelling language that customers understand.
Your company and personal website is your online property and digital home. The message that you send is sometimes the first encounter a potential client has with you. It’s important to make that message count.
I have helped small business owners, conference coordinators, artists and writers understand and execute a website that builds credibility and attracts business. And I practice what I preach with my own sites.
I encourage the use of press releases to announce upcoming events, special giveaways, new products, new businesses. Because in order to stay top of mind in your community and industry you have to get the word out.
Recently, I wrote a release for a surface designer preparing for a new giveaway campaign. It was tailored for specific blog leaders in her industry and designed to attract attention and new readers to her blog.

I help executives and small business owners with the wording for their letters and emails. Their goal is to share information with current members of their community in a manner that is inviting. I help them find the words.
A company newsletter is sometimes the best way to stay top of mind. I have written content for newsletter’s as well as edited the content submitted by team members.

I have helped companies clean up and update their training, copywrite and proposal content so that it’s fresh and clear for clients and staff.
I have created, edited and updated numerous company publications for businesses, departments and events to help managers effectively direct their team. Some of the publications that I’ve written include:
- Business Plans & Program Proposals — that resulted in licensing and funding from private investors and banks.
- Policy Manuals — to outline company structure and standards for the team that runs the daily business operations.
- Training Manuals — to design a training program for employees and management team.
18 years experience in writing articles and web content; business products and tools; training materials; numerous funded business plans; policies & procedure manuals for group home & veterans facility; multiple grants funding after-school and summer enrichment programs.
11 years management in non-profit, focused on urban issues, social programming, community involvement.
